Charlene (I'm Right Behind You)
5.03.2006
What's better than a little Stephen Colbert to get you through Hump Day? Not ferocious bears, that's for sure. And for those who don't know the Stephen/Charlene backstory (the deprived/underprivileged) see below. Enjoy!!
From Wikipedia:
Charlene is a fictional woman whom Colbert dated at some point in the 80s. After they split, Charlene got married, with Colbert making an uninvited appearance at the wedding, giving the new couple an obscene gesture. She now has a restraining order against Colbert. Colbert will sometimes plead for her to forgive him and let him back into her life. Charlene has at times been humorously referred to in the bullet points on The Wørd without Colbert making any overt reference. Colbert also showed an old videoclip of a song he performed during the 1980s when he was part of the pop-rock group Stephen and the Colberts. The lyrics are thinly-veiled implications of Colbert stalking Charlene. The name of the song is "Charlene (I'm Right Behind You)".
(HB, when I told you about this I told you about 'Jenny' instead...whoops! Wrong girl)

Colbert Nation, hooray! Did you see his speech at the press event last weekend? Hilarious :)
Yes!! Even though the Bush family was less than amused, I was highly entertained! He's so funny.
